Sample Day (& Night) Schedule
7:00am- Wake up/Cabin Tidying
7:30am- “Animal Forms” yoga, body movement, sit spots, meditation, or breathwork and swim
8:30am – Breakfast inside/outside, birdsongs nearby, community time
9:00am- Community meeting, singing, circle together Day Campers Arrive for Game and integration.
9:30am – Activity groups: choose your own adventure and practice a variety of skills — make fire, build shelters, identify wild edible plants, practice camouflage, etc.
Noon – Lunch in the dining hall, field, by the pond, or next to a massive old tree watching local critters.
1:00pm – Rest hour: writing home, hammock naps, quiet games, journaling. Day camp free swim and games
2:00pm – Free Swim & Games: POOL TIME! As well as choice activity in field including climbing wall.
4:00pm — Snack for Overnight and Day campers head home.
4:15pm – Small group activities: make a survival bow, successfully navigate through the woods without map & compass, create baskets from natural fibers, and more.
5:30pm- Circle up/songs together
6:00pm – Dinner: help prepare and cook your dinner over a fire built by your group or with community in dining hall.
7:00pm – Share stories of the day and prepare for a nighttime activity.
7:30pm – Move silently and confidently in activities that allow us to see and hear more wildlife, drum & fire stalks, full moon hikes, foxfire hunts (glowing fungus), “side” fires.
8:45pm – Youngest campers head to cabins, to read and sleep peacefully and dream of the next amazing day in your week.
9:00pm – “Late Night”: Leadership campers & CITs engage in games, socialize, stargaze, late night swim, dance parties, or any number of other activities as the older crew of campers connect and build relationships that last a lifetime.
11:00pm – All camp Curfew & sleep

1:6-1:4 staff-student ratio depending on activity
On-site directors, counselors, and volunteers who offer additional instructor support
Educators who encourage each students’ respect for self, others and nature
Licensed Nurse, First Aid and CPR, Wilderness First Responder, and Wilderness First Aid certified professionals
All our year round staff are full time wilderness professionals
