MEN'S WILDERNESS WEEKENDS
A curated weekend experience for men ready to drop the armor and reconnect.
With guided forest bathing, cold immersion, sound journeying, and premium workshops rooted in emotional authenticity and grounded brotherhood, this retreat is a reset for the soul.
For us the Men's Weekend is the invitation to stretch ourselves, to dive into new skills, and to celebrate the community of other men on a similar journey. Come explore the natural world, and have a great time doing it! We’ll practice skills and strengthen our connections to the earth, each other, and ourselves.
No previous experience is necessary, simply a sense of curiosity and a desire to learn. This will be an intimate group, with no more than 15 participants. We will immerse ourselves in a different aspect of primitive skills each time, tying them all together with a shared fire and some wild foods.

Connect with the rhythms of the Earth. Share stories around the warmth of the fire, wander the land looking for signs of wildlife, and deepen your awareness of the natural world. Mt. Solitude offers a forest sanctuary for self-reflection, relaxation, and rejuvenation of spirit. We gather as a community of women- learning, sharing, singing, and celebrating harmoniously with nature.
As women, our experience revolves around the natural cycles both internal and externally in coherence with the Earth. In this program, we revel in all aspects of our journey throughout womanhood and focus on nourishing body, mind and soul. We will foster a deeper connection with Self, our community, and Nature through skills taught by our program guides, meditation and self-reflection, deepening our connection with nature, nourishing our bodies through medicinal plants and healthy homemade meals.
Some programming examples (each weekend will look a little different depending on the season):
Practice the art of making and maintaining fire using traditional methods
Learn how to safely and confidently identify, harvest, and prepare wild edibles and medicinal plants from the medicine wheel garden
Morning Yoga practice
Guided meditation out in nature, the birds chirping and a running stream in the background
Crafting a salve/tea or other self care item from harvested herbs
Carving a shallow wooden bowl to hold sacred items
